{"id":33506,"date":"2025-10-21T07:58:33","date_gmt":"2025-10-21T07:58:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/airtificial.com\/?p=33506"},"modified":"2025-10-21T08:02:48","modified_gmt":"2025-10-21T08:02:48","slug":"airtificial-robots-for-mexico","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/airtificial.com\/en\/blog\/2025\/10\/airtificial-robots-for-mexico\/","title":{"rendered":"Airtificial: Robots for Mexico"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li data-start=\"129\" data-end=\"455\"><strong data-start=\"129\" data-end=\"455\">The Company has signed three contracts worth nearly \u20ac4 million with global Tier-1 automotive suppliers for the design, manufacture, and commissioning of an electric steering assembly and inspection line, as well as two inspection lines for electronic control units (ECUs) for electric vehicles at its Quer\u00e9taro plant in Mexico.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"457\" data-end=\"1043\"><strong data-start=\"457\" data-end=\"485\">Madrid, 21 October 2025.<\/strong> Airtificial has signed three contracts with two global Tier-1 automotive suppliers, valued at nearly \u20ac4 million, for the design, manufacture, commissioning, and turnkey delivery of an electric steering assembly line (RCB EPS) and two inspection lines for electronic control units (ECU) for electric vehicles at its Quer\u00e9taro facility in Mexico. These new contracts strengthen the Company\u2019s position\u2014and that of its Intelligent Robots division\u2014as a reference provider of industrial technology for large-scale automotive manufacturing within the NAFTA market.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1045\" data-end=\"1451\">The first contract has been signed with one of the Company\u2019s long-standing and strategic clients, destined for a vehicle model from a world-renowned American manufacturer. The second and third contracts are with one of the largest Tier-1 companies in the automotive sector. Airtificial has become a key technology supplier to these manufacturers, having already signed over one hundred contracts with them.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1453\" data-end=\"1522\"><strong>Guillermo Fern\u00e1ndez de Pe\u00f1aranda, CEO of Airtificial Group<\/strong>, stated:<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"1523\" data-end=\"1896\">\n<p data-start=\"1525\" data-end=\"1896\">\u201cThe trust of these clients, with whom we have executed over 100 projects, is a testament to our professionalism and demonstrates Airtificial\u2019s capability to support our partners in their international expansion. These new contracts consolidate our position in the American market and open the door to future global projects across this and other divisions of the Group.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"1903\" data-end=\"1946\"><strong data-start=\"1907\" data-end=\"1946\">Electric Steering (RCB EPS) Project<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1948\" data-end=\"2222\">The project will be produced at Airtificial\u2019s Quer\u00e9taro plant in Mexico before being installed at one of the client\u2019s main vehicle manufacturing facilities, further reinforcing Airtificial\u2019s operational presence within Mexico\u2019s key automotive hub serving the NAFTA region.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2224\" data-end=\"2694\">The contract encompasses the turnkey development, manufacture, and installation of a line measuring approximately 16 by 11 metres, composed of 12 intelligent stations and operated by four technicians. This technology integrates advanced robotics, artificial vision for inspection, embedded vision systems within robots for greater flexibility, screwdrivers, Harting quick connections, greasing systems, and quality controls, including functional and vacuum leak tests.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2696\" data-end=\"3104\">The line has been designed with an initial cycle time of under 60 seconds, which can later be reduced to 40 seconds in a second phase, ensuring maximum operational efficiency for large-scale automotive manufacturing. The project schedule foresees 30 weeks of production at the Quer\u00e9taro plant, followed by 10 weeks of testing and validation, after which the system will be delivered for final installation.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3106\" data-end=\"3364\">Electric power steering systems (RCB EPS) replace traditional hydraulic ones, allowing the integration of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and providing improved steering feel and performance. They are suitable for both electric and hybrid vehicles.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3371\" data-end=\"3443\"><strong data-start=\"3375\" data-end=\"3443\">Automation Projects for Electronic Control Unit (ECU) Inspection<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3445\" data-end=\"3858\">Airtificial Intelligent Robots has signed two contracts for four inspection lines that will include all necessary equipment for loading, unloading, transport, screening, and selection. These projects represent a significant technological leap, incorporating tangible improvements in the handling and visual inspection processes of existing lines through the integration of collaborative and industrial robotics.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3860\" data-end=\"4119\">As part of these projects, Airtificial will manufacture and install four inspection stations equipped with collaborative robots and artificial vision cameras, designed to verify the correct assembly of electronic control units in cycles of under 10 seconds.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4121\" data-end=\"4616\">Electronic control units (ECUs) are core industrial automation components essential to the manufacturing and functioning of modern vehicles, with potential applications extending to household appliances and security systems. They serve as the \u201cbrain\u201d coordinating electronic and mechanical functions within machines. Airtificial\u2019s technology will incorporate automatic visual inspection systems with cycle times as short as 7 seconds, ensuring zero defects and eliminating operator subjectivity.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4618\" data-end=\"5020\">Through these new contracts, Airtificial continues to advance its strategy of diversification and international expansion, strengthening its presence in key markets such as Mexico and reinforcing its contribution to the transition towards more sustainable and automated mobility.
