ROSSI (Robotic Test System for Active Inceptors). Preliminary results.

Airtificial Aerospace & Defense is currently working on the development of a new generation of fully automated and robotised system test bench to test and validate haptics control equipment. This kind of systems, such as active flight control sticks, improves flight experience and crew coordination and, therefore, is essential to have test means capable of testing and validating these new high-level functionalities. This project, which is currently under development, has already completed the design stage as well as the manufacturing of the test bench to, in next steps, start programming all the functionalities required for the execution of high-sensitive tests in active sticks. This project highlights Airtificial’s capabilities to develop high tech turn-key solutions in the field of collaborative robotics.

This project is funded by the European Union by means of the #CleanSky program, whose main goal is to evolve to an #aerospace industry more sustainable by means of a reduction of polluting gases and noise pollution.
