Airtificial leads project to modernise public early childhood education centres in El Salvador
- Airtificial Group, through its Infrastructures division, has signed a contract with the Government of El Salvador to participate in the Programme for the Improvement of Physical Learning Environments in Public Early Childhood Education Centres, a project of national interest financed by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD), a member of the World Bank Group.
- Under the €3 million contract, Airtificial will lead the supervision of modernisation works at 40 centres, ensuring compliance with the established technical, quality and safety standards.

Madrid, 24 September 2026. Airtificial Group, through its Infrastructures division, has signed a contract with the Government of El Salvador to lead the supervision of modernisation works at the country’s public early childhood education centres. The project, considered to be of national interest, forms part of the Programme for the Improvement of Physical Learning Environments in Public Education Centres and is financed by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD), a member of the World Bank Group.
The €3 million contract covers the supervision of improvement works to be carried out at 40 public education centres located across several departments of the country, directly benefiting children in these communities.
Infrastructures will be responsible for leading the technical supervision of the works and ensuring that they are carried out in accordance with the established designs, specifications, budgets and schedules, as well as the technical, environmental, quality and safety criteria defined for the project. The works will include the refurbishment, extension and/or construction of the centres; the adaptation of classrooms and communal areas; improvements to electrical, water and sanitation systems; and upgrades to accessibility and safety conditions for young children.
The works are expected to take approximately 12 months. Airtificial will carry out the work independently at 30 of the centres, while the remaining 10 will be delivered in collaboration with a local partner.

The award expands Airtificial’s presence in El Salvador, where the company has been operating since 1997 and has delivered 20 projects. Airtificial Group is therefore further consolidating its position in Latin America, a key region for the growth of its Infrastructures division, where it has been active for more than 50 years. The Infrastructures division’s core activity focuses on the development of engineering and supervision projects in the fields of water, transport, construction and other strategic infrastructure, including essential public infrastructure with a social impact.
During 2026, the company has expanded its activity through new projects in the Dominican Republic and Honduras, further advancing the geographical diversification of its business.
