To this end, we implement Fiber Bragg Gratings (FBG)nbetween the composite layers of the parts to be equipped with sensors, which means the smart structure concept is built right into the production process.
Once the sensors are embedded, they provide an array of data that are to be collected, entered, and ultimately interpreted using the structure’s digital twin.
