Ad-hoc electrical and electronic developments

Airtificial A&D has both electrical development capabilities, for installations, power harnessing, control units, and communication buses, and electronic development capabilities, for processing and control systems, adaptation modules, and critical systems.


Airtificial A&D has extensive experience developing electronic board solutions for a variety of industries (aerospace, military, industrial, etc.), and covers all stages of the product lifecycle: from laying down requirements to product delivery, which also includes conducting lab and qualification tests to meet industry requirements.

Its multidisciplinary engineering team means Airtificial A&D is equipped to design schematics, run SPICE simulations, route PCBs, design in 3D, analyze signal integrity, and run thermal simulations. In addition, its lab is also equipped to run test campaigns and manufacture PCB prototypes.

Our expertise in analog, digital, mixed, power, and high-frequency electronics, and FPGAs and microcontrollers, has been applied to a wide variety of products such as satellite communication systems, sensors, power distributors, power supply units, control panels, automated testing systems, and onboard systems.

Critical HW and SW

Airtificial A&D has leveraged its understanding of aviation industry standards to develop and certify systems under civil aviation hardware (DO-254) and software (DO-178) standards, meeting the highest level of criticality (level A). This involves applying techniques such as MTBF calculation, fault tree analysis (FTA), error modes and effects analysis, etc., in order to meet safety and reliability requirements.

It has also developed night vision goggle-compatible systems in compliance with MIL-STD-3009, along with, needless to say, systems suitable for the environmental, mechanical, and electromagnetic conditions faced by aircraft equipment in compliance with RTCA/DO-160, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-704 and MIL-STD-810

Systems integration

In its aim to provide its customers with full solutions, Airtificial A&D, in addition to being a developer, also takes on the role of mass producing and integrating a variety of technologies (commercial and in-house) on special platforms ranging from self-driving vehicles to robotic systems. Some great examples of the technologies it has integrated include positioning systems (GPS), perception systems (stereo cameras, Lidar, etc.), communications systems, pneumatic devices, robotics, and radars.
