PROVIDING TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO THE DIRECTORATE-GENERAL FOR ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT AND QUALITY (DGCEA) OF THE MINISTRY FOR ECOLOGICAL TRANSITION AND DEMOGRAPHIC CHALLENGE (MITERD) TO MANAGE INFORMATION GENERATED BY THE SPANISH AIR QUALITY NETWORKS.

Managing Spanish air quality information. Verifying and mining data recorded at all Spanish air quality network stations managed by the Spanish Meteorological Agency (AEMET), autonomous communities, or local government where appropriate. These activities were designed to comply with current legislation and existing international agreements.
Assisting the Ministry to coordinate these networks in order to assess air quality nationwide, as well as to provide said information to the European Commission.
